More Orgranization; Less Procrastination

I have procrastinated before. I have promised not to, so I'm starting now, not later, not tomorrow, but NOW.

I am organizing my life and focusing on one of the things important to me, my career advancement. I've always been motivated, driven and goal-oriented. I've always dreamed of being part of a dynamic, fast-paced & exciting organization where my inputs are important. Metrobank & Etelecare has been all that and more. Even better than i've expected. My stay with Etelecare has been a whirlwind of oppotunities and unexpected experiences, all of which made me grow not just professionally, but personally as well. I've found true friends who will stick by me thru the ends of the earth. And also friends who had stabbed me in the back a couple of times. All part of life. Lessons are learned; friendships gained; friendships lost. Being a leader in this industry has taught me a lot of things. Too many to fit in a plethora of thoughts jotted down electronically.

I will be leaving soon, with a heavy heart. Titan has made me who I am now and I'm thankful...for everything. I will bring all the good memoirs and hope I leave some of mine to the people I care about. I believe in building bridges and conquering walls, I believe I was able to do some. I believe that in spite of everything that happened, I was still able to impart my skills, knowledge and most of all my heart. I may have had my share of bad moments, but i can say that I've also had the best times of my life here. I've found a bundle of friends who'll move mountains for me & understands my indifference. I've had the best team any TL would ask for, a team who's unity, perseverance & loyalty to each other is unsurpassed. To my leaders who never gave up on me, who trusted me no matter what, who never judged me, who BELIEVED in me, who told me I can, you are all worthy mentors and I wish you more success.

Now, as I embark on another exciting journey towards finding my niche in the corporate arena, i resolve to bring back the old me who's always driven & aspiring. To always be at my game, at my very best. And, as one good mentor quoted me, find my bliss and I'll go for my bliss; I will go for my DREAMS...

A F*cked-up day saved by Starbucks, nails and more!

After a bad day, and i mean BAD, at work, I went off to the mall. I wanted to have a massage to take away my sorrows, well, momentarily that is. i just wanted to experience even a slight moment of peace where the harsh reality of the world is forgotten. Haaay...and while sipping my mango tapioca drink, my galpal, Cagney called me for a meet-up. She sensed there's sumthin' amiss. We headed to Starbucks to have our usual caffeine dose (heck, I needed it at that time) and I started lamenting.

After our talk I felt much better, nuthin' an ol' macchiato and a listening ear to cheer you up. I may be facing this now but I know I'll emerge stronger. I don't give up I always rise to a good challenge!

So I finally got my Starbucks planner, actually not really that excited bout it coz it' not that too special anymore, the leather's nice but the rest of the planner is just so-so. I'm actually thinking of giving it to my sis.

Will post the pic later, network problem!

Here it is!

Then we had an hour of pampering at California Nails & Day Spa for a mani-pedi. Lurve my french mani and my uber-hot pink toenails! Will definitely go back for my next mani-pedi session. Service i great, plus their polishes are nice and seems to last longer than my usual ones.

Again will post pics...

My nails, in dainty-pink...

and my toes... (I can't believe i'm posting my feet for the whole world to see!)

kikay stuff

I dropped by the mall yesterday, actually i just needed to buy a couple of stuff, mostly toiletries, conditioner, napkins(...shhh), and bath soap. I ended with this loot...

All because of my fella bona-fide GTalkers' massive recos on what's hot and not...and in the spirit of kikayness. All this and a couple of other stuff pa for less than 900 bucks...yeah sulit, all good buys! watchathunk? Well originally i got a lot more stuff pa but am really trying to contol the impulsive that i am! Am saving up for a little biggie stuff... you'll find that out soon enuf! Well, tata for now, as i apply my night cream, eye cream...i wish yah all a dreamy slumber... XOXO i know you love me!

Who doesn't love popcorn?!

I'm really loving Chef Tony's Caramel Popcorn! Yhummm! It's not your usual caramel popcorn, it's different...basta...di ko ma-explain! Basta i lurve it...i can finish a tub in one sitting (well, the smaller one...hihi; the big one when am with my absolute PG--"patay-guts; piggy..." sis, hihi). I really can, I actually did just that a couple of hours ago. So much for my i-will-and-i-can-i-will-not-procrastinate-post-holiday (whew!) DIET!

Can you really blame me? Just look at it...

there are a couple of flavors too... there's a light variant(for the waistline-conscious), parmesan cheese, white chocolate walnut, mocha almond, and would you believe pesto! All are to-die-for...so who says am not a popcorn addict?!

and don't even get me started on the microwavable ones...this and a good movie plus ice-cold soda...makes me happy...my simple joys...

Off to get meds & a little mall trip

Been having migraines big time the last couple of days. Can't sleep at night. Not good coz i have to wake up real early and prepare for work (heck, i work at US time-zones, mind you!). And i don't have any pain-relievers left. I think my mom was right in saying that my work is wreaking havoc to my health. That and not exercising, not eating well (junkie addict), not drinking well smoking (ooops..don't tell my mom), staying up late (i can't sleep=eyebaggies) and weel.. i think i abuse myself too much.

So, enough said, it's already soooo late, I need to get some stuff at the mall (well, meds are my priority, and then a couple of other stuff).

tata...i know you love me...XOXO

call-center girl's life

i've been working for eTel for almost 3 years now, and i can say that it had been an overwhelming learning experience for me, professionally and personally.

I started in an outbound campaign for a telecommunications giant - AT&T (merged at that time with Cingular). I was supposed to be in another campaign, Stealth, but they needed people in Excalibur and I was one of the lucky ones chosen. This paved the way for my call-center life. Needless to say, it turned my life around. It was a totally new experience to work during the wee hours of the morning let alone, sleep when there is still light and the whole metro is just buzzing to start their day. It was not hard. I actually find it easy to adapt to a different timezone and outrageously cold working area (perfect for dozing off, hah!). I was amazed at the environment, warm and friendly, but also stressful and not for the faint-of-heart.

unfinished...more to come

hmmm

Yey! I have my own blogspot already...hmmm... i wonder what my first official (with sense) post will be
